About the organisation
Mlodziezowy Osrodek Wychowawczy Nr 2 (Youth Training and Social Rehabilitation Centre Nr 2) been operating since 1934 and it is a specialist rehabilitation institution for girls only, providing constant care for 36 girls, age between 13-18. Their stay in the centre is corrective measures issued by court.
Our institution consist of two departments:
boarding school (there are 3 groups made up of up to 12 girls and 3 educators assigned to each group)
special primary school no 131 with a hairdressing studio for apprenticeships
The facility employs staff that is highly specialized in the field of rehabilitation and social therapy, as well as provides stability for the young people. The teachers create and implement proprietary programmes which aim at changing the wards' negativistic behaviour. Our wards have the opportunity to prepare for their future careers by participating in workshops organized by Continuing Education Centre.
